About the Project

Most modern specialty chemical formulations necessitate purified water for product blending.

Formulations related to life sciences, bioprocessing, microparticles, diagnostic assays, etc., demand water quality adhering to regulatory standards. This quality generally aligns with the Purified Water standards established by the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) and regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The systems installed and maintained by Filter & Water Technologies have been meticulously designed and fabricated in accordance with cGMP, FDA, and ISPE Baseline Guidelines for recommended materials of construction. The systems comply with the prevailing water quality standards for USP Purified Water and have been duly validated.

NIST traceable in-line instrumentation consistently monitors the resistivity and total organic carbon (TOC) content of the end product water, ensuring the water quality fully adheres to published standards. Continuously displayed is the flow rate of the distribution loop supply, a measure that guarantees appropriate flow velocities within the piping to prevent microbial growth.

Customer facilities have implemented regularly scheduled preventative maintenance programs provided by Filter & Water Technologies. This proactive approach ensures adherence to the system’s validation protocols.
