The vast majority of today’s specialty chemical formulations requires some form of purified water for the blending of products.

Product formulations for life sciences, bioprocessing, microparticles, diagnostic assays, etc. require a quality of water meeting regulatory standards.  Water of this quality typically meets published standards for Purified Water as defined by the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) and regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The equipment highlighted in the included photos has been designed and fabricated in compliance with cGMP, FDA and ISPE Baseline Guidelines for recommended quality materials of construction.  The system meets with the current published water quality standards for USP Purified Water and has been validated as such.

NIST traceable in-line instrumentation constantly monitors resistivity of the finished water along with total organic carbon (TOC) content in compliance with published standards.  In-line flow rate of the distribution loop supply is continuously indicated so as to ensure proper flow velocities within the piping for prevention of microbial growth.

A regularly scheduled preventive maintenance of the system, developed by Filter & Water Technologies, has been employed by the owner in order to guarantee compliance with the system’s validation protocols.
